More swapping!!

When I went to my retreat I did about 15 layouts and some swaps

I borrowed some AWESOME CTMH stamps from my friend Jen. Perfect for inchies!!!

They were pretty easy to make and I like them..

They are 1.25x 1.25.. cute and easy to use on a LO or a card. I can't wait to get this swap back!

Critters

Another popular theme right now. Critters..

I was, am, obsessed with owls. But we did a critter swap, and this is what I came up with.

My squirrel is from the Stretch your Imagination cart. I think he's kinda cute. :D And he's on a coaster, so you could use it for journaling.

Oh and after I used my deep cut blade for cutting foam, I *misplaced* my regular blade and housing (see cause the deep cut blade comes with a different housing).. I was happy to find out though, that I can use the deep cut blade for cutting paper. I just had to change the # on the dial, and change the pressure. All is good! But dang, I wish I could find the other blade and housing, it's driving me nuts!

Foam

Another fun thing to swap is foam pieces! You can also die cut foam with your sizzix or sidekick machine. BUT you can also cut it with your cricut and a new deep cut blade! That's how I cut these. Depending on the thickness of the foam, it might leave a little rough edges, but I think it gives the piece character :)

I forgot what cart I used for this frame. But isn't it cute?

Just circles with a gold heart and stickled.

I think this is the Indie Art Cart. Accented the heart with a clear skittle :D

Stretch Your Imagination Tree with circles for the "foilage" and added red brads to look like apples.

Graphically Speaking Cart. Okay this butterfly was a pain in the ass.. The blade kept chopping off the antennae. I guess if it was bigger and the details not so little, it would do a better job at cutting the details. Plus this foam was a bit thicker, hence why you see more rough edges.

Swapping

Do you swap? It's awesome. I'm talking scrapping variety here... ;) but you knew that, ;)

If I were to just scrap, I never really make little embellishments, like cute titles or journaling spots, but when I swap, it forces me to make "nicer" stuff, and in return I get to use some awesome stuff from some very talented ladies!
Here are a couple of things I've been working on..

These are felt "pretties" little embellishments to spice up your pages. As a little side note, did you know that your old sizzix or sidekick can cut felt? Yep it can.
